Functions

The office of the University Registrar aims to provide efficient, facilitating and dependable services to all students, academic and non-academic staff.

  • It supports or facilitates faculty teaching, student learning and institutional research at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and the staff and student information system.
  • It is the official recorder and keeper of UNISSA's student records from application to degree conferral in perpetuity. As official recorder, it serves as Secretariat in different committees and boards of the university administration such as the Executive Committee, the Senate, the Academic Planning and Monitoring Committee, the University Examination Board, the Committee on Student Admission and Graduation, and in the University Council meetings.
  • It also serves as Secretariat of the University Establishment Board, the Board of Selection for Appointment of Teachers, Staff Housing Committee, and the University Research Committee.
