INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
INTRODUCTION
Industrial Training is one of the compulsory courses for Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University’s (UNISSA) undergraduate students. They are required to take this course during the third semester of their third academic year at UNISSA. They must complete this course within seven weeks, starting from the first Monday of June (subject to change), at government or non-government organisations which are approved by their respective faculty’s Dean or Director of Centre.
OBJECTIVES
- To give students the opportunities to practise the theoretical knowledge that they learn in class and apply it in the real working environment.
- To inculcate professionalism in the students through interaction and communication with the people at their training places besides to look for job opportunities for their future career.
- To develop students’ skills and abilities in every aspect of life.
- To develop and maintain good relations with government and non-government organisations that can help UNSSA to produce skilful and proficient graduates.
