Lawatan sambil belajar mahasiswa UNISSA ke OGDC Seria |

Seramai 52 Mahasiswa/wi Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Negara Brunei Darussalam telah mengadakan lawatan sambil belajar ke OGDC Seria, pada hari ini Sabtu,19hb Julai 2008. Rombongan mahasiswa/wi UNISSA ini di ketuai oleh Dekan Hal Ehwal Pelajar UNISSA, Ustaz Pg Haji Saiful Bahrin bin Pg Haji Kula serta diiringi beberapa pegawai dan pensyarah tempatan UNISSA.
 Pegawas Pameran OGDC, Albert Chang Yew En telah memberikan ucapan alu-aluan dan memberi penerangan ringkas mengenai sejarah penubuhan OGDC. Selain itu, rombongan ini juga berkesempatan mengunjungi dewan pameran yang merangkumi beberapa bahagian, antaranya; Formation, Exploration, Transportation, Energy dan lain-lain.
 OGDC secara resminya telah dibuka pada 14hb September 2002. Di antara objektif OGDC ini ditubuhkan ialah untuk memberi pendedahan dan ilmu tambah kepada masyarakat tentang peri pentingnya ilmu sains seperti sejarah penemuan minyak dan gas. Selain itu juga, ia berhasrat untuk menyokong dan meningkatkan industri pelancongan di negara ini.

UNISSA Students Visit YSHHB |

 Bandar Seri Begawan - Fifty-five students from the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) went on a study visit to the Yayasan Sultar Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) yesterday. The visit was led by the Dean of Students Affairs of UNISSA, Ustaz Pg Haji Saiful Bahrin bin Pg Haji Kula.
The public relations officer of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Dayangku Hazami binti Pengiran Haj Ahmad, welcomed them and gave them a briefing.
The study visit is one of the activities organised by tht Student Affairs Department. Its main aim was to expose students and inform them the Yayasan's history and establishment purposes. One of the functions of Yayasan is to provide community services helping people locally as well as internationally. UNISSA Students In Malaysia For Arabic Debate |

Bandar Seri Begawan - Four undergraduates from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) left the country yesterday to compete in the Arabic Language Debate Championship (Higher Education Institutions Level) in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. 
The competition is being organised by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (U S IM).
The Brunei contingent is made up of undergraduates Awg Hj Abdul Rashid bin Hj Damit, Awg Ramlee bin Hj Kassim, Dyg Roseanita bte Hj Timbang and Dyg Nurul Asmaa bte Hj Johari.
They are being accompanied by a lecturer from UNISSA, Dr Hassan Maksoud. Dr Maksoud is one of the judges invited for the competition.
