UNISSA holds Tedarus Al-Quran ceremony

UNIVERSITY Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) recently conducted a Tedarus Al-Quran, to mark the holy month of Ramadhan.
 
The religious gathering was attended by Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, the Rector of UNISSA, together with several officers, lecturers and staff members.
 
The programme began with a religious talk on the virtues of reading the Al-Quran, by Dr Sayyed Abdul Hamid Al Mahdaly, a lecturer at the Faculty of Usuluddin.
 
The recital began with a mass recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Rector of UNISSA, which was followed by a reading of the Al-Quran among several groups.
 
The Tedarus Al-Quran is an annual event at UNISSA, to promote goodwill and the reading of the Al-Quran among staff members, during the month of Ramadhan.
