UNISSA’S STUDENTS ATTENDING ALSA FORUM IN SINGAPORE
A group of law undergraduates from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) will be representing Brunei in an ALSA Forum for law students.
The ALSA Forum is an event hosted by respective member countries of ALSA, and for this year, it will be held in Singapore which starts on the 31st July until 6th August 2017.
ALSA Forum is the flagship activity of the association, which is a week-long conference that brings together more than two hundred law students from its member countries for a series of academic and non-academic activities.
Being held between the months of August and September every year, it marks the beginning of ALSA’s academic calendar, wherein the annual ALSA General Assembly, Governing Council Meetings, and International Board elections are held.
The conference, which ends on Sunday, will cover a variety of legal issues relevant to the theme of “Law and Justice” which highlights the issues of Human Trafficking, Terrorism, Illegal Narcotics and Corruption.
In addition to this, various talks and table discussion groups are prepared by the organizers in line with the overarching theme for the conference.
