MISSION

Mission towards an academic center of excellence for higher education.

VISION

To become an academic center of excellence in higher education in various disciplines of studies, and is committed towards achieving UNISSA vision to become an Islamic higher education hub in Asia.

1. To provide a wide range of postgraduate programmes from postgraduate diploma and master degrees to doctor philosophy.
2. To plan and coordinate all matters of students’ admissions and to monitor the record progress of al postgraduate students.
3. To plan and initiate academic activities in order to upgrade the quality of the programmes in UNISSA such as facilitating collaborative efforts between higher institutions in Brunei and others internationally.
4. To contribute towards the enhancement of knowledge by integrating Islamic knowledge and values with acquired knowledge of pure science and human sciences.
5. To promote interdisciplinary research among graduate students in the area of Islamic Studies and other relevant disciplines.
